Resin Print Time Calculator

Estimate how long a resin print will take and how much resin it needs. Choose your printer preset (Elegoo, Anycubic, Phrozen, Creality) or enter your own exposure and lift settings.

How resin print time works

MSLA resin printers cure a whole layer at once, so print time depends on the height of the model and your layer settings, not on how many models are on the plate. Each layer takes the exposure time plus the time to lift and retract the build plate.

  • Layers = total height ÷ layer height.
  • Time = bottom layers × (bottom exposure + movement) + normal layers × (exposure + movement).
  • Thinner layers (0.025–0.03 mm) look smoother but take longer.

FAQ

Why does my slicer show a different time?

Slicers include extra settings like rest time, two-stage lift speeds and acceleration. Use the “lift + retract per layer” field to match your slicer.

How can I print faster?

Orient the model to reduce its height, use 0.05 mm layers for large parts, and fill the build plate — more models do not add time.
